Happy Easter Mini Sessions!

Easter is around the corner and our Spring/Easter Mini Sessions were a big hit.  I met so many nice families and we had a great time taking pictures and visiting with my sweet little foster bunny Mopsie (adoption information available at www.toomanybunnies.com). Here are some photos taken at the event.  I love that they don't scream Easter so that they can be used for many purposes and stand the test of time. Thanks to everyone who helped make this event a success!

Happy 2013!

Happy New Year from Cindy Jackey Photography!  2012 has come and gone and I am so looking forward to great things in 2013.  I'll be growing the business and launching a brand new website and private client proofing gallery.  I'll even hopefully be setting up my own home studio for newborn shoots, portraits, and any photos that are better taken where its not 32 degrees or 100 degrees outside. My clients in 2012 were really top quality people. I'm so thankful to have met them all and I look forward to working with them, as well as all the new clients to come, in 2013.

So even though the holidays are over, I want to sneak in one last holiday family portrait shoot.  These are friends of mine and this is the third family portrait session I have done for them.  It's a bit of an annual occasion.  I don't know if its because we are friends, or just because they are the happiest, friendliest people you'd want to know, but we always have such fun on our shoots.  I honestly tried to get them to stop laughing in order to take photos, but for the most part, it didn't work! Aren't they the cutest family? We explored the many great backdrops of Piedmont Park as the sun was beginning to set.  As my client told me, December is the perfect time of year to shoot in Piedmont Park.  At first, I wondered why he would say that since it was a bit on the cold side, but he elaborated that although there were plenty of people enjoying the park that day, there was still plenty of room for us to shoot without gobs of random people in the background, as there would have been at warmer times of year.  Good point!

And now, on to the photos.
